Conference Website for NGO “Pryncyp”

Sometimes incidents happen. For example, a client submits a project late, but it is so important that we cannot refuse. Just like with NGO “Pryncyp”, whose social value is hard to overestimate.

We have already developed products for the organization multiple times, so we have significant experience and a ready technical base. Although this new project did knock us off balance somewhat. Primarily because of an ultra-tight deadline and simply not enough time for full coding from scratch. But BuildApps are not amateurs. We found a way out of the situation. And quite an effective one, to be honest.

When Time Pushes You in the Back – Mistakes Are Possible, but Not With Us

The client needed a new landing page, but not quite an ordinary one. A portal for an annual conference that the organization would reuse. But again, the need for a digital resource arose somewhat spontaneously, so we had to work at maximum capacity. The list of requirements for the portal included the following:

  • Branded design, interface, inclusivity features.
  • Performance that would not depend on peak simultaneous load.
  • Ease of content editing without involving developers.

And, of course, the implementation deadlines, which were… let’s say, far too short for this type of project. Well, hopeless situations are not our thing, so after a few team brainstorming sessions, the solution was ready.

Solution – Artificial Intelligence

You know the memes about developers copying ready-made code from ChatGPT? Well, the memes are lying.

To speed up development, we used artificial intelligence. But we didn’t just copy-paste fragments – no, that’s bad form. Our process was much deeper and more refined:

  • We created prompts for code development, using the best examples and our own groundwork.
  • Generated the base, such as React components, layout, and logic.
  • Manually edited the generated components, adapted them to the needs of the project, and quickly integrated them into the platform’s body.

In fact, the delay was in the technical part. Why? Because our designer took on all the tasks of layout and product structure to speed up development. Literally saved the project from missing the deadline. That’s what a professional looks like.

As a result, in a very short time we developed and launched the system. Yes, it was difficult, yes, there were problems, but everything works – and that’s what matters most.

And in the End – A Fully Codeless Management System

If the technical part was developed with artificial intelligence as part of the team, the management systems were implemented by us ourselves. Fortunately, we have a powerful and efficient solution in our arsenal for this type of portal (and it works perfectly well for other solutions too). Strapi – a universal (or almost universal) open-source Node.js Headless CMS.

It was precisely with Strapi that we implemented one of the key tasks:

  • A fully autonomous content management panel. In other words, NGO "Pryncyp" can independently change most site elements: text, visual content, logos, etc. Even the interface, at least partially.

An additional advantage – the client’s team already has experience working with Strapi, so they can make all major changes on the site without outside help. Well, of course – we had already created a solution for them with this CMS. Makes sense.

Summary

In the end, we have what can proudly be called an excellent result. Namely:

  • A functional conference portal with interactive elements, reusable for future events. Just change the content and, effectively, a new landing page is ready.
  • Clean and productive code developed with the help of AI. Of course, manually adapted – but how much faster and easier it was is beyond words.
  • Deadline met, which made it possible to launch the site on time and start generating leads, receiving applications for participation in the conference.

For these and a number of other reasons, the BuildApps team also became part of the conference – more precisely, the official partner of NGO “Pryncyp”. Not for the first time, but still a pleasant result.
