Perfect Werks is a manufacturer and seller of specialized packaging and accessories for liquid products. In particular, we are talking about portable kegs for personal use.

Product features:

• Several ECO materials for safe storage of liquids.
• A beverage carbonation system that runs on CO2 cylinders.
• Filters and valves that prevent air from entering the container.
• CST valves to relieve excess pressure from the container.
• Thermos-style construction that allows you to store drinks and keep them chilled for up to 15 days.

It looks convenient and up-to-date, doesn't it? However, these kegs do not have built-in control sensors, which makes it somewhat difficult to interact with them. This was the issue that we had to solve in the course of our cooperation with the brand.

Well, the issue of controlling the liquid inside the keg, its shelf life, and composition is exactly the issue we had to solve with our product. However, since the containers do not have built-in sensors, the condition of the drinks is determined using a slightly varying method.

We were tasked with developing a cross-platform mobile application that would allow users to

• link purchased kegs to an account;
• enter information about the contents of the container
• specify the date of filling;
• count the number of uses, etc.

The client also wanted to add a social element to the app to improve its conversion rate. In general, we carried on with the task.

We built the application based on MAUI and C# using MongoDB. During the development process, we implemented the following functionality:

• Registration and authorization of the container owner using a mobile number.
• Linking kegs to an account (with a limit of unique QR codes per 1 user).
• Correction of container data, i.e., filling time, keg type, beverage.
• Expiration date tracking with a notification system.
• Saving the history of keg usage with its migration between accounts in case of resale of containers.
• Active link to the seller's website and catalog of products and accessories.
• A section with drink recipes where you can view recommendations from manufacturers.

In other words, the app is designed for the convenience of users and simplifies their process of working with kegs. This additionally demonstrates the brand's interest in working with its client base.

The goal of developing this app was to improve the UX of the owners of Perfect Werks products. And we achieved this goal by implementing critical functionality in the new app for the company.

We'll let you in on a secret: the app is still being worked on, so soon, users will have access to new features such as creating and publishing their own drink recipes and a feedback system for them.
