When you receive the hundredth email about a sporting event, an invitation to a summit, or a cooperation offer in a day, you lose focus and just want to delete all the contents of your inbox in batches. This is exactly the problem one of our clients had. And yes, we solved it in a rather... non-trivial way.

The client was one of the well-known investors who retired from business and changed occupation. However, even now, the client still receives many emails with various business offers, news, etc. This volume of messages takes too much time, which prompts the client to look for ways to solve the problem.
After reviewing the client's challenges and wishes, we defined an action plan and started implementing the new project. It should be noted right away that this is an individual development that can only be used by the product owner.
After discussing the project, we faced the following tasks:
The solution's main task is to free up the inbox by dividing mail into different categories and assigning special tags to each individual email. We expanded on this task a bit and created a product with a powerful UX.
To implement the GUI, we used the Mantine library (for React), and the rest of the algorithms were created on the basis of the Google Cloud API. Thus, we developed a specialized Google Chrome extension application that works exclusively with Gmail. The product features are as follows:
As for the challenges during development, it takes time to build extensive algorithms for the product that should be executed depending on whether the email meets a whole list of conditions.
Our client is a busy entrepreneur who often lacks time to process numerous incoming emails. That's why our product became the tool that allowed to organize account space and optimize inbox so that only valuable and useful information was highlighted.
As of now, the extension fulfills its purpose by 100%, but we already have a task to truly modernize it.
